Thanks for coming out to hit, below are a few reminders and details about our social doubles events:

- Please arrive 10 minutes early so that we can start on time!
- Players of all levels are welcome to participate (no doubles experience required)
- We provide balls for each court
- If you can’t make it please email board@seattletennisalliance.com or text the host in our Whatsapp Group

The exact format varies but generally we have an hour of play with an initial pairing and then we rotate or switch partners.

If the weather is looking questionable, we will generally make a call around 30mins before the start. If we do cancel, you‘ll receive an email notification and credit for future social doubles events.

Please let the host know if you have any special needs or preferences and we’ll do our best to accommodate!

Host: Self-hosted

Saturdays we match up players from 2 skill levels at time for competitive play. These are non-hosted sessions, so players must self organize and supply their own balls. Please only sign up if you are at the levels listed in the event title.

GLTA Level Descriptions:
| Open = (NTRP/USTA 4.5+) – very advanced players… think college athlete level
| A = (NTRP/USTA 4.0) – advanced players with polished skills and consistent offensive/defensive capabilities
| B = (NTPR/USTA 3.5) – strong intermediate players who demonstrate consistency in their match play
| C = (NTRP/USTA 3.0) – intermediate players with a solid grasp of play and a variety of skills
| D = (NTRP/USTA 2.5 or below) – generally beginners with basic skills

Join us for a rooftop party celebrating Pride! Some food and drink provided but bringing additional snacks and/or drinks is encouraged. RSVPs required so we have an accurate headcount. Event will be held near 9th and Virginia in South Lake Union; exact address will be sent to registered attendees the week before the event. This event is free for all current STA members and $5 for non-members who want to play. Feel free to bring your friends and family to come try their skills on the court or just hangout in the grassy area with us!
