While STA does not officially captain or sponsor any USTA teams many of our members participate in or captain their own teams. It’s a great way to get regular matches and competitive experience.
Depending on the league, matches can take place all over Seattle, the east side and surrounding cities.
If you need help finding a team, please reach out to the board and we can put you in touch with relevant captain(s).
I don’t have a rating, can I still participate?
Yes, you can self-rate and join teams at that rating. Most league play starts at a minimum rating of 2.5.
Do I need a USTA membership to play?
Yes, USTA membership is separate from STA membership.
How much does it cost?
Costs can vary by season, typically there is a team registration fee and each match you play in has court fees as well.
